granola

granola

Granola was recommended to us by a dietician as a good breakfast alternative to a morning smoothie. As your body needs to breakdown the food it makes you feel fuller for longer. Its high in fiber and great for your gut, high in protein and has lots of nutrients. We have tried some great store bought granola’s but when they cost $10 for 300g I decided to make it myself for half the price.

This recipe makes 600g of granola. Serving size suggestion in 75g so eight delicious bowls of granola to enjoy. Serve with almond milk, yogurt and blueberries.
