healthy chocolate brownies by the fit interest

gluten free, dairy free and refined sugar free

If you are looking for family friendly, healthy, refined sugar free, gluten free and delicious recipes head over to The Fit Interest website or follow them on Instagram. After seeing these chocolate brownies posted over Easter Mr Messy Benches put his request in for me to get baking. They are super easy to make and they taste delicious. The recipe calls for a food processor, I called on my trusty Thermomix. I made them with walnuts instead of activated buckwheat.

Check out the ingredients and non Thermomix recipe here.

Thermomix directions

  1. Add bananas and 150g dates to TM bowl and mix 30 seconds, speed 7.
  2. Add all other ingredients except for baking powder and nuts (use your Thermomix scale rather than the cups measurement and add 100g coconut oil, 50g raw cocoa 100g coconut flour, 150g maple syrup and 55g water). Mix 30 seconds, speed 7.
  3. Add baking powder and nuts and mix 20 seconds, reverse speed 5.
  4. Pour into a lined square slice tin and bake.

Enjoy your healthy chocolate brownies!
